Letter From All Three Kochot Section Heads !

Hey Kochot 2010!

My name is Mikey Fox and I am the Kochot section head for this summer. I am super excited about camp and cannot wait to work with the new "K-team", the assistant section heads for this summer, Dara Koplowitz and J. "Josh David" D.
I have been going to Kadimah since I was an 8 year old Gibbie, and every summer of my life that I can remember since then involves camp Kadimah in some respect. Whether spending summers in Nova Scotia, or experiencing Israel with my friends from Kadimah, the memories and friends that we make in our little nook of Nova Scotia really can, and do last a lifetime. I cannot wait for just over a month from now, when the entire camp is full of people to create another incredible summer!
Le'hitraot & see you soon,
Mikey

Hey Kochot!

This is JD. I can't believe that it is almost time for camp again! This summer is going to be an amazing one. I am so excited to be an assistant section head! Together with Mikey and Dara, I know that we will make this summer one of the greatest for you. I have been a part of the Kadimah family since 1999, and I have been lucky enough to be staff in Kochot for my last two summers at camp. Camp Kadimah has always been such a special place to me and I am looking forward to making many memories this summer with all of you.
If you can't find me on the shores of Lake William, then you can most likely find me on the shores of the Bay of Fundy in Wolfville, NS, where I go to Acadia University. I just finished up my third year at Acadia, where I am completing my Bachelor in Music and also acting as the Jewish Student Association's President. While not in Wolfville, I am home in Halifax with my family.
I hope you all enjoy the last few weeks of school and best of luck with exams if you have any. I am counting down the days!
Josh "JD" David

Last but not least ...
Hi Kochot!

This is my 10th summer at Camp Kadimah and my 3rd summer working in the Kochot section! This summer I'm mostly looking forward to organizing and running new fun and creative programs for the Kochot section, that not only will be entertaining but will also prepare Kochotnicks for their future summers in Machar. Having been a staff member in Kochot and more recently Machar, I believe I have the skills and experience to help campers with this transition to older sections while enjoying their time in the Kochot! I am so looking forward to seeing old faces around the section and meeting new staff and campers! Let the camp countdown begin!
-Dara Koplowitz
